We are having guests over for dinner tomorrow and decided to make them a dessert from the Albert Heijn Allerhande magazine. Of course we had to test it out tonight and it was really tasty AND easy.
The following recipe is for 4 people.
Ingredients:
2 large jonagold apples.
1 tbsp sugar.
1 tsp cinnamon.
20g butter.
Directions:
Peel and core apples.
Melt butter in pot.
Cut apples into slices.
Toss apples into pot.
Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over apples.
Cook for about 8 minutes.
Serve with ice-cream. The speculaas ice-cream was delicious with this.

Hmmm yummie, perfect this time of year!
ReplyDeleteIt was in the Sinterklaas section of the magazine so I'm guessing it's typical around this time? :-) We made it again today. Love apples!
ReplyDeleteThat's the two things I always look for in a dessert; easy to make and delicious

PS thank you so much for your comment. Leiden is definitely worth a visit, it was lovely there. And I suppose no where in Holland is really THAT far away from anywhere else as it's so small!!
Hehe, the man's favourite joke is that every place in Holland is close by ;)
