We are having guests over for dinner tomorrow and decided to make them a dessert from the Albert Heijn Allerhande magazine. Of course we had to test it out tonight and it was really tasty AND easy.
The following recipe is for 4 people.
Ingredients:
2 large jonagold apples.
1 tbsp sugar.
1 tsp cinnamon.
20g butter.
Directions:
Peel and core apples.
Melt butter in pot.
Cut apples into slices.
Toss apples into pot.
Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over apples.
Cook for about 8 minutes.
Serve with ice-cream. The speculaas ice-cream was delicious with this.

Summer-in-winter chicken
We had guests last night so decided to make summer-in-winter chicken with roast potatoes and vegetables for dinner last night. Everyone loved the chicken, they're all huge pesto fans, and the potatoes. Our guests had never eaten roast potatoes before!
It was very simple to make and didn't require a lot of ingredients.
- Chicken breasts.
- 3 tbsp pesto
- 3 tbsp (light) crème fraiche.
- Cherry tomatoes.
----------------
- Cook the chicken breats in a tbsp of oil. I sliced these up into strips to make the process speedier.
- Once chicken is cooked, chop cherry tomatoes in half and toss into pan. Let them soften up for a few minutes.
- Chuck in pesto and crème fraiche. Stir. Stir some more. Stir a little bit more.
- Serve.
